EPR taped joints and prefabricated composite joints

摘要

Joints for polymeric insulated supertension cable fall into three main types based on the insulating method employed: (1) fluid or gas immersed, (2) elastomeric, and (3) field moulded. This paper considers two types of elastomeric insulated joints, the EPR (ethylene-propylene rubber) taped joint and the prefabricated composite joint.
