Management of high technology in China-some problems of strategy and policy

Summary form only given, as follows. By analyzing experience of many years in managing the R&D work of optical fiber telecommunication technology, based on a study of development strategy and policy of high technology in China, the author discusses some key problems of development strategy and policy in management of high technology in China (as a developing country). These include the selection of technological direction, the tackling of key problems in time, and the concentration of resources.
