The use of gate-arrays in a scientific research environment, experience at the SERC's Daresbury laboratory

Scientific research within an international research laboratory is supported by many disciplines. Within the discipline of electronics at the SERCs Daresbury Laboratory, DL gate-arrays are an important design tool offering solutions to the requirements of experimentation which until recently would not have been possible.
