Abstract: A joint DoD effort is in the final stages of contract acquisition to achieve a 'filmless' hospital environment in the near future. Success of implementation lays to a large degree on an effective image workstation. This paper will discuss soft copy image display (SCID) of the MDIS system including hardware and software. !
