摘要

Optimization of fuel combustion process is related to the control of fuel distribution to the burners and to the control of pulverizing mill performance. Commonly used in power engineering is the extraction method in which the sample of air-fuel mixture is periodically aspirated from a circular pipe and the solid phase is separated from the gas phase so as their masses may be determined. This method is covered by ISO 9931: 1991 and Polish Standard PN-91/M-34131. The paper provides a review of both standards and further potential of gravimetric measurements to evaluate distribution of fuel blend for boiler burners also shows. These opportunities are made available through the unique instrument ,,Ernitest 10 PE" used in Polish power engineering and outlined in the paper.
