Intelligent Support to Creation of the Product Design Specifications

摘要

Creation of the product design specifications document is a very challenging and often also very complex task. It represents a crucial part in design process, as all subsequent steps depend very much on the quality of design specifications made earlier. Design engineers are facing many dilemmas in this process, especially those with less experience in this field. Thus, decision support is needed to ensure that all necessary requirements are set as good as possible. An idea about intelligent system that should provide such a support is discussed in this paper.
