Chromium poisoning phenomena were compared among three SOFC cathodes consisting of La_(0.8)Sr_(0.2)MnO_3 (LSM), La_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Fe_(0.8)Co_(0.2)O_3 (LSCF) and LaNi_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)O_3 (LNF) under relatively large cathode polarization conditions. Deposition of chromium near the cathode/electrolyte interface seems to be affected only by the cathode polarization, not by the cathode materials nor the current density.
