After modifying the tire profile the noise spectrum has changed and a complex test on bench have been performed to highlight the correlation between the temperature gradient and emitted sound as functions of speeds and load. The main problem of the manufacturer was related to noise spectrum they intend to reduce, and to make it trend towards the white noise, in order to minimize the tire's capability to excite resonance into the car's body.
