American Concrete Institute Committee 440 State-of-the-Art Report

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) Committee 440, Fiber Reinforced Plastic Reinforcement, was established in 1991. The committee's mission is to "study and report on research, development and uses of fiber reinforced plastic for internal and external reinforcement of concrete." The committee's membership includes nearly forty full members, plus an additional thirty consulting and associate members. The members have different backgrounds from the industry, government, and academia and represent several countries. The committee meets twice a year during the ACI fall and spring conventions.
