American Concrete Institute Releases AGI 440 Report on FRP Composites

Committee 440 of the American Concrete Institute(ACI)has released a new publication which summarizes the current state of knowledge on FRP composites and their application to concrete and masonry structures.ACI 440R-07 Report on Fiber-Reinforced Polymer(FRP)Reinforcement for Concrete Structures,October,2007,serves as an update to a report issued in 1996 and provides an introduction to FRP materials in areas where ACI guides related to composites exist,and information on the properties and behavior of concrete structures containing FRP composites in areas where guides are not currendy available.
