SEEPAGE INDUCED FAILURE AND RESTORATION OF GOUHOU REINFORCED CONCRETE FACE ROCKFILL DAM

摘要

The original Gouhou reinforced concrete face rockfill dam failed on August 27, 1993. A new dam was constructed on the old dam site and completed in October, 2001. The objective of the restoration project was to rebuild the dam based on the remains of the damaged dam. Some unique issues of the project are the reuse of fill materials, the combination between the core and face slab of the new and damaged dam, excavation of deep sediment, etc.
