The aim of this work is to study the corrosion behavior ofrnAluminum alloys with silicon and magnesium, byrnpotentiodynamic polarization tests and ElectrochemicalrnImpedance Spectroscopy in bioethanol solution (92º - 96º), roomrntemperature and pH 6.5, evaluating the effects of the addition ofrnCH_3COOK and ClO_4Li as supported electrolytes. The resultsrnshow that adding ClO_4Li to the alcoholic solution induces pittingrncorrosion, possibly reducing ClO_4~- to Cl~-. Whereas that,rnCH_3COOK causes inhibition of the corrosion, and increasing ofrnpassivation of the metal, a phenomenon which is attributable tornthe generation of corrosion products.
