UNIVERSITY COURSE ON NOISE GIVEN BY A DISTANCE TEACHING METHOD

摘要

In spite of these problems the authors consider the course to be a particularly successful one in thecontext of the University of Otago distance teaching system. It has developed over the last fiveyears to the stage where it can now be offered without a great ded of extra work to experiencedguest lecturers and it continues to attract a larger number of students than any other acousticalcourse in the University. It is dso a rewarding course to teach as it brings the lecturers very muchin contact with the red ‘worldof occupational acoustics.
