Russian standard regulating quality requirements and testing criteria of software for sound outdoor calculation

A variety of software products of both domestic and foreign developments are used currently in Russia to accelerate and simplify acoustic calculations of outdoor sound. It is not always possible to verify the implementation correctness of the algorithms and results acquired by these software products. In this regard a Standard was developed in Russia which sets requirements for data quality software products and regulatory criteria for their testing to evaluate the implementation of the calculation methods used on the territory of the Russian Federation in the software, and to do the calculations themselves open and transparent. This paper describes the main provisions of the standard and considers the issue of creating a common data format that will allow synchronizing and transferring obtained results and input data between different software tools.
