A Study of Noise Reduction Method on the Power Plants (Part 2 Experiments in a power plant)

摘要

On the basis of the scale model experiment discussed in the previous paper, a full scale experimentwas carried out in the turbine rooms on the first and second floors of an actual thermal power plant,aiming at economically and effectively reducing the noise level in such spaces. The experimentresults demonstrated that, by placing sound absorbing material on the walls, columns of wide flangebeams and pedestals (especially for the lower portion), a very significant effect of noise reduction isachieved in work space.
