Integration of CAPP with CAD Based on Solid Edge

摘要

An integration approach of CAD and CAPP is presented in which precision features and materialrnfeatures are added into the 3-D CAD part model of geometric feature by using the rename function of the featurerntree in “Solid Edge Part “ GUI, then by using a VB program, all feature data are extracted from the model andrnstored in a feature table of a common database ready for CAPP visit. The related key techniques are detailed andrnan example is given.
