Current Status of Nuclear Power in Japan and JGC's Activities in the Nuclear Field ( For 2nd Joint Conference between the Chinese Nuclear Society and JGC )

摘要

In 1995, 50 nuclear power plants were in commercial operation, amounting to a total power generation capacity of 41,350,000 kilowatts. The availability factor of these plants is reported to be 79.9%, which shows that Japan's nuclear power plants have maintained an availability factor of more than 70% over the past 14 years.
