MODERN SUGAR SILO SYSTEM

As per packing and marking order; Gout. of India has made compulsory to bag sugar in 50Kgs. Packing from March 2003. Considering previous method of manual (Weighing & stitching) packing in 100Kgs. Jute bags, it is essential, to do packing very fast. While doing this to avoid loss of sugar due to inaccurate weighment, sweeping and to reduce crushing rate than installed capacity due to sugarhouse jamming, it was necessary to install sugar silo system with automatic weighing. Accordingly, we have installed sugar silo system before starting cane crushing for the season 2003-04. The system has required less capital investment less space than previous system and found very beneficial for producing superior quality and bold grain sugar with minimum production cost.
