摘要

The paper investigates quarter car models under base or force excitations by white noise or colored noise. In case that car dashpots possess nonlinear damping characteristics, stationary densities are calculated via Fokker-Planck equations applying a nonlinear Galerkin procedure. To discuss resonant car speeds, filtered excitations are introduced leading to non-gaussian response of the vertical car vibrations. Associated root-mean-square values are calculated by means of a linear covariance analysis.
