The attenuation device includes a control loop with a sensor (7) receiving the vibrations. A sensor interface (9) receives an output signal and an actuator (12) carries out the damping. A head (18) of hammer (15) hits a plate support (2) in order to produce the attenuated oscillations. A mass of the hammer (15) is related to the desired frequency range, to be attenuated.
