STUDY ON INFORMATION PROVISIONFOR SAFETY DRIVING SUPPORT SYSTEMIN COOPERATION WITH ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE

摘要

This paper addresses information systems operating at intersections, based on cooperationrnbetween vehicles and road infrastructures. It is important to solve the problems of confusionrnand misunderstanding when the driver is presented with too much information at once. Anrnalgorithm to interpret driver behavior was developed. Based on the interpretation of driver'srnbehavior, the content and timing of the information presented could be determined. Thernperformance of the algorithm and the acceptability of the information systems were verifiedrnby real tests. The test results are reported with a description of the design of the informationrnsystems.
