The numerical models of the diesel engine, turbocharger, intake pipe, exhaust pipe and intercooler were respectively set up by using VC++ and MATLAB, then connected all the models by means of boundary condition and design the matching program of turbocharger and diesel engine. Using the program in the combination of a radial flow turbocharger and a diesel engine, we get the performance parameters of the diesel engine and its matching data with the turbocharger. In the end, we carried out the combined working experiment of diesel engine and the turbocharger and verified the numerical models and the matching program of turbocharger and diesel engine from the matching experiment results.
