UV CURABLE ADHESIVES FOR CMOS CCD IMAGE SENSOR PACKAGE

The packages of CMOS & CCD image sensor are widely used to digital still camera, digital video camera, D-SLR (single-lens reflex), surveillance, automotive and others. On those applications, the packages are composed of plastics or ceramics with using UV Sealant1-2). UV curable sealants have contributed to increase reliability and productivity of the assembly line of CCD or CMOS packages. UV sealants necessary have specific characteristics which are air-tight, visco-elasticity and others. Kyoritsu Chemical, we offer those technical data and explanations why those data are essential. We demonstrated necessity of required properties which affected the technical issues to produce packages and proposed causes and countermeasures. We have not only supplied UV curable sealants but have offered total solutions for the production of packages.
