摘要

A new method is developed for integration of part geometric errors (PGE) and error stack-up in rigid body assembly process (RE). It provides an interface between rigid and compliant assembly models. Algorithms are provided to simulate PGE based on statistical modal analysis (SMA) method and GD&T information. It is an initial step toward the development of rigid-compliant hybrid assembly model for stream of variation analysis in multi station manufacturing systems.
