Handling the Press to Maximum Advantage

Too many senior executives in this industry appear to be paranoid about the press. Such paranoia, whatever its origins, is counter-productive as it prevents numerous companies from using the media in a positive way and gaining valuable promotional exposure. This paper is in two parts: the first deals with making approaches to the trade and technical press - essential to every member of this audience - whilst the second looks at handling the general local and national media during a major casualty response.
