摘要

The calculation and prediction of soft foundation settlement in highway construction project is a front edge in today's geo-technical engineering field. Based on Zhe Xuesen's Finite Stratum Analytical Method and the experimental data of Ling Shan soft foundation work for Beijing-Zhuhai Highway Construction Project, features of high way, the author predicted and analyzed the consolidation settlement of cross section D. The calculated results coincided well with the observational data. It was proved that the new method was effective on simulating the stress and the strain of soft soil. The author also gave a preliminary discussion on the hysteresis effect, which occurred during the consolidation period, and its influence on the consolidation curves. Finally, the author pointed out that the microcosmic dynamic course of hydraulic which took place during the consolidation of the soft foundation should be given the further research.
