摘要

Shaanxi Science & Technology Information Edifice (SSTIE) is of ultrahigh-rise building with tube in tube system characterized by colossal volume, complicated structure form. The steel content of the project is huge, up to 260 ton per normal story, which gives a lot of trouble in construction. In this paper, mechanism of cold extrusion sleeve link and the application of more than 47 thousands pieces of such link joints used in the building are recommended. The quality requirements of reinforced bars and sleeves, process parameter construction equipments, process flow, construction method, and quality control are also discussed. Besides, effectiveness for applying this new technology is analyzed. It is proved that cold extrusion sleeve link technology is of high quality, high-speed construction, easy to operate, and saving of steel. From the point of economic effect, it could obviously decrease the construction cost and reap considerable benefit. Therefore, it should widely be applied.
