Thermal Stress Analysis of Home Heating Furnace by Using Finite Element Method

In order to improve the safety level of producing home heating furnace, thermal stress analysis was applied on home heating furnace in the paper. A powerful tool of finite element analysis ANSYS 9.0 was employed to evaluate stresses of hearth. Based on the evaluate results of thermal stress, the hazard factor of breakage of the hearth was found, and the hazard results were evaluated.
