The use of composite materials in structural engineering is recent, and researchers need to investigate their behavior features. This paper introduces one of entirely new energy-saving residential structures multi-ribbed slab structure (MRSS). A multi-ribbed composite wall (MCW) is the main bearing-load member in multi-ribbed slab structures. Based on tests, theoretical analyses and practical construction, the multi-ribbed composite wall and its mechanical characteristics and failure mechanisms were analyzed. The multi-rib slab structure's deformation and dynamic characteristics were acquired. Designing methods of structure and construction manual are proposed.
