HIGH CONCRETE FACE ROCKFILL DAMS IN CHINA

摘要

China has started CFRD dam construction by using the modern technology since 1985. There are more than 80 CFRDs completed and under construction. Among them, 19 CFRDs have a height of over 100m. In practice, it is recognized that high CFRDS have its own characteristics, which should be considered seriously in dam construction. This paper will review and discuss the experiences and lessons from the high CFRD construction in China.
