Polymer dispersed liquid crystal samples have been fabricated by using photopolymerization-induced phase separation method at different cure temperatures, which matrix were based on ethyl-cyanoethyl cellulose/poly-acrylic acid ((E-CE)C/PAA) composites. Liquid crystal texture and the morphology structure were investigated under polarizing microscopy. A simple method of determining the influence of cure temperature on phase separation degree has been studied by polarizing microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) . Results show that the existence of low molecular liquid crystal changed the pitch of the cholesteric (E-CE)C liquid crystal in its low concentration. The pitch increased firstly, then decreased with increasing the cure temperature. Otherwise in high concentration, the degree of the phase separation increased when increasing the temperature and the LMLC droplets became more pure.
