Effective applications of computer-vision techniques in packaging design concept evaluation

摘要

The purpose of the present research is to study the feasibility of the integrated approach in improving the product service life prediction. The results have shown promising effectiveness of the new approach for design concept verification. The approach has been applied in parallel with the thermal cycling life tests to provide physics-based mutual supports in interpreting the results. Further study will be continued focusing on the methodology and procedures for better correlating the test results.
