Application of Baosight MES Technology in High-Speed Wire Production

摘要

This article briefly introduces the characteristics of MES technology applied in Baosteel High-Speed Wire process and its production control system, and introduces the whole structure, the system's software-hardware configuration, application function's framework and the methods and technology of implementing primary control function, especially the technology, which stacks the product coils on a plane location to fulfill Three Dimension Coordinate Management, solving the problem of limited location. This innovative idea results in direct economic benefit. The article also discusses about the development trend and the future of the system. The prototype of wire & rod control system is also provided.
