A NOVEL LIFE CYCLE IMPACT ASSESSMENT (LCIA) METHODOLOGY FOR LAND USE ON IRISH PEATLANDS

摘要

The objective of this study is to investigate the workability of a land use impact assessment method for peatlands. A preliminary field validation of three land use scenarios resulted in method improvement. The method allowed for land use impact quantification of different land uses on peatlands using indicators based on the exergy concept.
