In this paper the transition metal ions (Mn2+, Co2+, Fe3+) and H2O2rninfluence on the ozonation of ligninsulfonate (LS), guaiacol and maleicrnacid is investigated. The reaction is conducted in a bubble reactor.rnKinetic parameters of these reactions are estimated. The initial rate ofrnLS and guaiacol ozonation is shown not to change in the presence ofrnthe metal ions.rnCatalytic effect of the metal ions on LS and guaiacol ozonation processrnis observed on the secondary stages of the reaction after 2 moles ofrnozone consumed when unsaturated compounds are presumably formed.rnThe conversion level of the compounds under investigation isrndetermined by the metal nature and its concentration. The scheme ofrnmetal ion action is discussed.rnOzonation of LS with hydrogen peroxide added is studied. OH-radicalsrnare generated as a result of H2O2 decomposition by ozone. Thernmechanism of hydrogen peroxide reaction with ozone strongly dependsrnon pH media. Radical reactions aren't found to improve the LSrnaromatic ring destruction.
