May 3rd, 2002, the large RoRo vessel "Stena Foreteller" built by Dalian shipyard Co., Ltd for Stena RoRo AB of Sweden was delivered. The vessel possesses the most advanced level in the world. It is much concerned by the world's shipping field due to its wonderful characteristics such as high speed, high intelligence, heavy loads etc. and its design concept like Roll on / Roll off. Because the vessel will carry various vehicles and 1～9 kinds of dangerous goods specified by IMO, a complete fire fighting system is fitted on board. Fire fighting system is a main part of the ship safety system and one of the most important items inspected by class societies, Fire Detection & Alarm System is a grand part of the fire fighting system.
