PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire detection warning device for housing using a color image for reducing the influence due to the color of an object, such as furniture, and for accurately deciding whether there is a fire.;SOLUTION: This fire detection system is provided with a photographic means for photographing a monitor region, and for outputting a color image signal configured of R, G and B color component signals and an image memory for storing an image photographed by the photographic means, and configured to detect a fire by processing the image stored in the image memory. Thus, it is possible to reduce the influence due to the color of an object, such as furniture, by searching the G*R and B*R of each pixel with respect to the normalized R, G and B signals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
