摘要

This paper presents the application of the local approach to detect small fault in redundant inertial sensors with a dodecahedron configuration. It is demonstrated that the selection of samples number plays an important role in improving the performance of the local approach. By enlarging the number of samples, the ability of the technique to detect fault will be enhanced significantly. In order to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the local approach is compared with the Generalized Likelihood Test (GLT) approach by experiment.
