Herein, we report the demonstrations of field sequential color (FSC)-LCDs using the modules of narrow gap TN-LCDs doped with inorganic nanoparticles and those of polymer stabilized V (PSV)-FLC-LCDs. The former has the response time of 3ms and the latter has that of several tens ijs. FSC-LCDs fabricated by in our research are featured by low power consumption and useful as novel digital signage.
