Using a risk-based maintenance approach to develop planned maintenance guidelines for fire protection systems

This paper describes the development and application of a fisk-based maintenance approach (a next generation of reliabioty-centered maintenance) for developing planned maintenance guidelines to ensure the reliability of fire detection and suppression systems throughout Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.
