摘要

In this paper, a new image enhancement and object obtaining method under the condition of the low contrast and strong background noise based on wavelet transformation is presented. It is a hard work to proceed, analyze, track and locate the object position for the image obtained under the condition of low contrast and strong noise background. An image enhancement method needs applying. According to the characteristics of image texture, a special butterworth filter that protect the texture is designed to enhance the images in wavelet transformation domain under the condition of low contrast and strong noise background. The research results show that the SAR data with Speckle, Pepper and Salt noise is enhanced very well by this method using nonlinear enhancement processing in morphological wavelet domain also.
