The effect of PE-g-MAH content on mechanical properties and morphology of PA66/POE/PE-g-MAH was studied carefully when pure PE-g-MAH product was used as compatibilizer for PA66/POE blend. Molau experiment and SEM study showed that PE-g-MAH was a better compatibilizer for PA66 and POE; POE domains were distributed more homogeneously in PA66 matrix with the increase of PE-g-MAH content. The melt temperatures of the blend in DSC were lower than before. Mechanical properties showed that notched impact strength, elongation at break and toughness of PA66/POE/PE-g-MAH were greatly enhanced with the increase of PE-g-MAH content.
