Performance and Reliability Analysis of DOORS

摘要

This paper studies the performance and reliability of DOORS, Distributed Object-Oriented Reliable Service, developed by Lucent Technologies. It introduces the fundamentals of fault tolerant distributed systems, and describes DOORS architecture. Various test procedures are designed to measure DOORS' reliability and performance. The paper concludes with observation and recommendations for future development.
