摘要

Investigation have been made with Zn on the flow pattern in a glass-making furnace containing 550 tons of melted glass and operating continuously with three sheet glass drawing machines. The tracer injected rapidly through the feeder-pocket of the furnace in the form of zinc oxide.rnThe tracer was dissolved in a melted glass and the path of this labelled melt was dedected by sampling and subsequently measuring the zinc concentration of the samples.
