The paper presents a marco/micro feeding system combining manual stage and high stiffness PZT actuator for Precision Micro extrusion forming process, which requires both resolution and high pressure, which require high precision, high pressure and long travel. To meet the demand of process control, a Force/ velocity hybrid control strategy was developed, which includes force and position mode. The sample parts machined by the system verified its precision and productivity. And productivity and quality of parts are increased a lot compared to universal extrusion machine.
