The background of appearance about CRM is discussed as well as its meaning and prospect of implementation for construction companies. The Characteristics of CRM are described in the point of view of a management thinking, a management means and a technical application. The point of view that building Custom Relationship Management System is the most important means for construction companies to succeed and keep its advantage in competitive market is presented. Based on it, the composing of CRM model for construction companies and its basic function is discussed. In the article circulation of CRM is discussed and its three phases is described. The influence of implementing CRM in large construction companies is discussed. How to put CRM into effect is a problem in practice, so four key factors is discussed at final.
