THE RESEARCH OF CITY AND COUNTY POSTAL OFFICE NAME FAST INPUT CODING METHOD

摘要

In this paper, the influence of factors which have effect on the input speed such as coincident code number and keystroke times of several coding methods was compared, based on the analyse of the city and county postal office name in the Chinese postal service business. And it advances that choose the "double word head" code as phoneticize input code of city and county postal office name, and choose the "double word root" code as five-graphemic input code of city and county postal office name, and zip code. The coding method in this paper can well solve the contradictions among coincident code rate, input speed, and the complication of coding rules, which is represented by code length. As the result, it not only enhances the input speed but also makes the operator easier to handle.
