A Preliminary Construction of Business Mode for Law Offices in China

Since being resumed in 1979, the legal service business has grown rather rapidly and is playing more and more important role in the course of opening and reformation in China. In this paper, with the use of "Jie.Guan" business model, the author analyzes the major challenge and complicated situation that law offices in China have to face, seeks to apply specialization of business activities to change the current situation that legal service business is localized, small in market scale and low valued legal service, tries to develop the new market section of profit making and proposes a new business model to providing company with high-level advance strategic legal service. Specially, the author studies the charging system, software support system and intellectual property protection in such a new business model.
