PERFECTION OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT BASED ON THE PRICING STANDARD FOR BILL OF QUANTITIES

In this paper a brief account is given of the pricing standard for bill of quantities in the construction projects of our country and practices of project management. By drawing on experiences in international project management, the author demonstrates the role, defects and effects of the pricing standard for bill of quantities upon the construction projects management, finally a series of measures and suggestions that will create a social integrated supportive environment are made, which involve the development organization (optimization of bidding mode, scientific bid evaluation and award and perfection of information system), construction contractor (better ability to quote independently, contract awareness, intensified project management and perfection of information system) and establishment of public project in formation system, credit evaluation of participating entities and its publication. All this will be of great help to perfection of project management in our country.
