The present invention relates to a conceptual cost estimation method in accordance with a modular construction method based on standard work types to calculate conceptual construction costs of a modular plant. According to the present invention, the method comprises: step S1 of allowing an initial construction cost calculation unit to apply data of a site construction method to a common classification item excluding a modular classification item by using a predetermined standard work type and unit table to calculate a quantity and an amount; step S2 of allowing a modular construction cost calculation unit to calculate modular construction method costs of a manufacturing site, which include prefabrication costs, module transfer costs, and module installation costs, and site construction costs modified in accordance with a modular ratio by using construction cost data; step S3 of allowing a cost factor quantification unit to select and quantify a cost increase factor and a cost decrease factor generated in accordance with construction characteristics by each standard work type; and step S4 of allowing a final construction cost calculation unit to multiply the modular construction costs of step S2 by each factor of step S3 to calculate final construction costs based on a probability distribution.
